Children's Authors Visit for Reading Month
Meet three authors on March 2
To celebrate Reading Month, the Library is hosting three wonderful authors who will share their work on Saturday, March 2 from 1-3 p.m. at the Ewald Branch in Grosse Pointe Park.
The authors are:
- Ruth McNally Barshaw, author, illustrator and cartoonist of titles including the Ellie McDoodle series and Leopold the Lion
- Bailey Sisoy Isgro, author of Rosie, A Detroit Herstory
- Kim Perez Valice, author of The Orca Scientists
Meet the authors, hear about their work and enjoy crafts. Most appropriate for ages 6+ and their families. Be sure to register on our calendar.
Opportunities to purchase copies of books by our visiting authors will be provided by The Book Beat.
