Experience the Library from Home
The Grosse Pointe Public Library is as close as your telephone. If you or someone you know is either permanently or temporarily homebound in the Grosse Pointe Library District, you or they can be part of our outreach service.
Visits are arranged by telephone and all circulating materials are available for loan. Patrons with low vision can enjoy large print or talking books from our collection. Visually or physically challenged readers can be linked with the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
To set up an Outreach visit, call the library at 313-343-2074 ext 1209 or fill out the form and our Outreach Librarian will contact you.
New Parent Outreach
Expecting a little one or bringing home a new child? One of our Outreach Librarians can stop by with books for you and/or older siblings and information about family resources in our area. Sign up by filling out the form to your right. This service is for cardholders in the Grosse Pointe Library District.
