Grab-and-Go Begins October 12
Library moves to Phase 3 of reopening plan
"I am very happy to announce we are moving to the next phase of opening on Monday, October 12 to Phase 3, Grab-And-Go," says Jessica Keyser, Library Director.
What is Grab-And-Go?
You can enter the library to:
1. Pick-up your books & other library materials
2. Make an appointment to use library computers for up to 30 minutes
3. Use the library printers
4. Browse new books
Curbside pick-up will still be available, if you're not comfortable coming in the library. Although the stacks will not be open to browse, patrons will be able to browse the new book shelves in the lobby area.
To make an appointment to use library computers, please call the Reference desk:
- Central Branch -- 313-343-2074 ext 1222
- Woods Branch -- 313-343-2072 ext 2201
Grab-And-Go essentially means come into the library, get what you need and go. So your time within the library is limited to 30 minutes or less.
Remember, you will need to wear a mask and maintain social distancing of six feet.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the Library and for your patience and understanding as we work to keep all of our staff and our patrons safe.
